These days, every film that is released in Bollywood has a remix of some old hit songs. The trend has gradually grown so much that people are now protesting. Bollywood famous writer and songwriter Javed Akhtar has expressed his anger over superstar Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif's re-created song 'Tip Tip Barsa Pani'.
The song has already become the headlines since the shooting of Akshay's 1994 film 'Mohra' for the re-created romantic song 'Tip Tip Barsa Pani'. The song of the film has been shot till late last night. But this has angered Javed Akhtar's makers of 'Sooryavanshi'. In fact, Javed Akhtar has been raising voices about copyrights of songs for a long time and he wants it to stop.
Talking to the media, Javed Akhtar said, "The process of re-creating old songs as needed must stop and I have already sent legal notices to people for this purpose. Today Anand Bakshi Saheb (who wrote Tip Tip Barsa Paani) is not among us who can protest.' Akshay and Katrina's film 'Sooryavanshi' will be released soon.
