New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi today dedicated the Kashi Vishwanath Dham (Corridor) on Monday. Samajwadi Party (SP) MP and film actress Jaya Bachchan has questioned the BJP over the issue. Jaya Bachchan said several shops and houses have been demolished in the street of Lord Vishwanath temple for the Kashi Vishwanath corridor. Have their owners been compensated? Jaya Bachchan said the BJP is so scared of the Red Cap (SP) that it is cutting laces on the lace slot and laying the foundation stone.

Earlier, the Samajwadi Party leader and national president Akhilesh Yadav has been consistently claiming that the Kashi Vishwanath corridor was passed during the previous SP government. However, state CM Yogi has said that Akhilesh Yadav's claim has been proved wrong after conducting a fact check. The BJP government has also released the fact check report. PM Modi on Monday launched Kashi Vishwanath Dham and also launched a scathing attack on the opponents.

PM Modi, without naming anyone, said that when I came to Banaras, I had come with a belief. The faith was more on the people of Banaras than on themselves. Then some people who doubted the people of Banaras. He used to say how would it happen? It will not happen at all. They used to say that this is how it goes here. A lot like Modi came and left.
