Patna: Bihar's ruling party Janata Dal United (JDU) has first sidelined RCP Singh and has now launched a crackdown on those close to him. Till a day ago, Dr. Ajay Alok, who was seen defending Nitish Kumar's party in the media, has come under the scanner of the action. The JDU has immediately relieved Ajay Alok as well as party's state general secretary Anil Kumar and Vipin Kumar Yadav from their responsibilities and suspended their primary membership. The cell head of the dissolved social reform fighter Jitendra Neeraj has also been suspended from the primary membership.

An order issued by the JD(U) in this regard said that the party office bearers are expected to use their energies to strengthen Nitish Kumar. For the past several months, complaints were being received about parallel programmes being run against the interests of the party and workers being misled. Some office bearers were asked to avoid such acts by talking to them, but even after this, the anti-party activities continued.

The JDU has now shown its spokesperson Ajay Alok the way out on charges of anti-party activities. Ajay Alok has been expelled from the party by the JDU. After being expelled from the JDU, Ajay Alok has reacted to it. He said without naming anyone that thank you for freeing me.
