Lucknow: Three persons from the same family have died suspiciously in UP's Lucknow. The incident took place in Janakipuram. It is being said that a JE of the tubewell department has consumed poison along with his wife and daughter. The father and daughter were declared dead by the doctors, while the mother died during treatment. All the police officers are present at the spot.
According to the information received from the police, Shailendra Kumar (45 years), posted as JE in the tubewell department, consumed poison along with his wife Geeta (40 years) and daughter Prachi (17 years). The three were brought to the trauma centre of the medical college. Shailendra and Prachi were declared brought dead by doctors immediately, while Geeta died during treatment. A suicide note was also seized by the police from the spot on which the names of some persons have been written by the deceased. The suicide note says that these people were threatening the family. DCP North Zone Qasim Abdi said that a suicide note has been recovered, in which the names of some persons are written, we will arrest them and interrogate them as soon as possible.
Shailendra Kumar lived with his family in the Janakipuram extension area. He has his wife, a daughter and a son in the family. The son is currently in Bengaluru to participate in a sports event. On Wednesday, Shailendra was in the house with his wife Geeta and daughter Prachi. Police said that at 9.30 am, the neighbours informed us about the three consuming poison. According to the police, as soon as we got the news of the three consuming poison, we immediately reached the house and all three were taken to the trauma centre, where the father and daughter were declared brought dead by the doctor and started the treatment of the mother. The mother's condition was very serious and doctors tried their best to save her, but she also died. The forensic team has reached the house. Jankipuram Extension Police says that we have received a suicide note, The house is being searched and forensic experts have been called. Along with this, the police are interrogating the neighbours who had seen the three first. The search is on for the people named in the suicide note.
