L2: Empuraan is all set for a theatrical release on March 27, 2025. The movie stars Mohanlal in the lead and is directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran. According to the latest update, the movie will also star actor and singer Jerome Flynn in a key role, who is better known as ‘Bronn’ in Game of Thrones.

The director Prithviraj Sukumaran shared the news with the fans on social media. Recently, a poster and video of Jerome Flynn was dropped on X discussing about his experience working in the film. Sharing the character poster featuring Flynn yesterday, Prithviraj captioned it, “Character No.7 Jerome Flynn as Boris Oliver in #L2E #Empuraan.”

In the video, Jerome Flynn shares, “I play the part of Boris in Empuraan or L2:E. I can’t quite remember how I got roped into this job, but I am so glad I did because it was a completely different experience from what I have been used to having over in the U.K or the U.S. To be part of the Mollywood culture of things and to get a taste of that was really special.”

Flynn also reflected upon his connect with India and said, “It’s extra special to me, I think, because India was a really important…precious part of my journey. I spent several years coming over here in my late 20s and early 30s, mostly on spiritual retreats. And the whole experience of being in India has changed my life forever in the best possible way. So, doing this job felt rather like coming home.”

Flynn didn’t get to shoot in India, but the whole experience was just like being here. He said, “And the vibe on the set, even though we never went to India, it was like being back in the middle of a Delhi roundabout. There was a kind of this beautiful orchestrated chaos and everybody was really sweet and really loving their job. It made it one of the most enjoyable jobs I have ever done.”

Talking about the character, he said, “I can’t give away too much about my character except to say that he does play an important role in Khuresh’s journey. So, I really hope that you guys really enjoy my character and the film. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed making it.”

Jerome Flynn has starred in various other Hollywood movies and shows apart from Game of Thrones. This includes Black Mirror, Soldier Soldier, Ripper Street, Loving Vincent and The Change among others.

L2: Empuraan also features Tovino Thomas, Indrajit Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iyappan, Saikumar and Sachin Khandekar in pivotal roles. The movie will be released in Hindi, Malyalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages.
