Giving information about the increase in dearness allowance, an official said that this decision of the government will directly benefit 1.35 lakh employees and pensioners.

At the same time, in April 2022, an increase in dearness allowance was announced by the Jharkhand government. In fact, before this, the Central Government has increased the Dearness Relief Allowance (DR) for employees by 4% to 38%. Let us tell you that according to the Office Memorandum (OM) of the Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare, the DR has been increased to 38%.

At the same time, in the meeting chaired by PM Modi on the third Navratri (September 28), it was announced to increase the dearness allowance from 34 per cent to 38 per cent. In the cabinet meeting, a big decision was also taken for ration card holders and the free ration was announced till December. On the other hand, on the basis of the data of the AICPI index of August released by the Labor Ministry, the way has been cleared for the increase in inflation allowance in January 2023. Let us tell you that the figure of August has increased by 0.3 points compared to July. With this, the AICPI index came to 129.9 in July, which increased to 130.2 in August, with its increase, the way for 65 lakh employees to get a DA hike in January on the new year has been cleared.
