Ranchi: Former Jharkhand CM Madhu Koda has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against the Election Commission's decision to ban contesting elections. The court will hear Madhu Koda's petition on Friday. Explain that the Commission disqualified him in 2009 for not giving the correct details about election expenses. If all goes well, then former CM Madhu Koda may contest the assembly elections from Jagannathpur constituency on a Congress ticket.

Koda won that election from Chaibasa's seat in Jharkhand. The Election Commission had received complaints that Koda had not given correct information about election expenses.
