Giridih: Due to continuous heavy rains, the water level of rivers has increased in many parts of Jharkhand. The water level in the Usri river in Giridih has also increased. Due to this a tractor driver was in verge of from drowning in the river.  The tractor engaged in the construction of the bridge got stuck in the violent flow of the Usri river.

The driver worked hard for hours to remove the tractor. In this affair he got himself trapped in the river. Workers engaged in bridge construction rescued the driver through Poklen. Sinha Construction has been entrusted with the construction of a bridge over the River Usri by the Path Construction Department. The construction work was in progress. Suddenly the water level increased. Tractors and drivers were trapped in the strong current of the river.

Workers on the spot rescued the first driver from the beach river. The tractor was also removed after a lot of effort. Many parts of Jharkhand are affected by the monsoon these days. It has been raining continuously throughout the state. Though the rain has brought relief from the heat, waterlogging continues in many places.
