Amid the ongoing corona infection in the country and the state, Finance and Food Supply Minister of Jharkhand Dr Rameshwar Oraon has claimed that in the first hundred days of the new government, two months advance ration has been made available to about one million such families, who do not have ration card.

Regarding the matter, Oraon said that Chief Minister Didi Kitchen has been started in all 4562 panchayats of the state to provide ration to every needy and poor families. He said that apart from this, the number of Chief Minister Dal-Bhat centers has also been increased. Khichdi centers have been opened and community kitchens have been arranged in all the police stations so that no poor person can face hunger in this event of crisis.

In his statement, Oraon further said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren government completed its 100-day tenure amidst nationwide lockdown due to coronavirus. State President Oraon held a meeting with the members of the Relief Monitoring Committee (Covid-19) at the party office in Ranchi today.
