What is VoWiFi?
Voice over Wi-Fi or VoWiFi works via Wi-Fi. It is also called Voice over IP VoIP. Through VoWiFi, you can make calls using home Wi-Fi, public Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspots. For example, if you do not have a network in your mobile, then you can talk comfortably on the phone with a Wi-Fi or a hotspot from someone. The biggest advantage of VoWiFi is in roaming, as you can talk for free through any Wi-Fi.
How to talk on phone with wifi?
If you are still having trouble understanding VoWiFi calling, then you can take WhatsApp calling as an example. You can also talk to anyone through WhatsApp and your balance is not spent, because in WhatsApp calling, you use the Internet network. Simply put, calling via Wi-Fi without a mobile network is called VoWiFi calling.
First of all, let us tell you that you will be able to make VoWiFi calling only when your smartphone is going to support WiFi calling and at the same time your telecom operator will also provide VoWiFi. You can check this by going to the network settings in the phone's settings. If the option of Wi-Fi calling is visible in your phone's network settings, then by doing that you can make VoWiFi calling. Currently, VoWiFi calling is available only on smartphones like Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, OnePlus 7T. In the country, currently Jio and Airtel are offering VoWiFi.
