A new package has been introduced by Reliance Jio for its superfast home broadband service. This package will save users Rs 2,000 in taking new connections. In fact, to take Jio GigaFiber home broadband service, users have to deposit security of Rs 4,500. The company will now pay Rs 2,500 for the security deposit in this new package. The price of this optical network terminal (ONT) service of Reliance Jio has also been speed-up. The Rs 4,500 package gives users a speed of 100Mbps while in this new package, users will get speeds of only 50Mbps. In addition, the router on the company side will also now have single band support instead of dual-band connectivity.
As per the information received, the announcement about Jio GigaFiber in August last year was said to offer 100MBPS of data at a speed of 100Mbps. With this speed, beta testing was being done in many cities over the past few months. For this, users had to deposit security of Rs 4,500. This security deposit was being taken as a one time deposit of the users. In Jio GigaFiber with Rs 2,500, users will be given a single band router. It will benefit users with 1, 100GB of data with a speed limit of 50Mbps. Free voice calls will also gain with it.
