Reliance Jio partnered with Aeromobile, a subsidiary of Panasonic Avionics Corporation. Under this agreement, this facility will be available in 22 flights. With this service, Jio Postpaid consumers can talk to their friends and family during the flight. After the commencement of this service in the same Indian plane, all live users can take advantage of it.
Here's how to use the flight pack of JIO: -
First of all turn on your smartphone and turn off the flight mode, which you must have turned on during takeoff.
By doing this, your smartphone will be connected to the automatic AeroMobile network. The name of the network depends on your handset. Its name may vary in different handsets.
If your smartphone is not automatically connected to the AeroMobile network, go to the Carrier option provided in your phone settings and select AeroMobile manually.
After that, make sure that your Data Roaming is on. You will be able to use the internet in flight only after it is turned on.
As soon as the smartphone is connected to the AeroMobile network, you will receive a welcome message and other information.
After that, you will be able to run calls, messages, emails and internet from your smartphone on the flight.
Jio postpaid consumer has the facility of in-flight mobile service like Air Serbia, Alitalia, Asian Airlines, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, Emirates, Etihad Airways, Euro Wings, Kuwait Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Malindo Air, SAS Scandinavian Airline, SWISS, Uzbekistan Airways and Virgin Atlantic. At the same time only SMS will be available in Aer Lingus, Kathy Pacific, Egypt Air, EVA Air, Lufthansa, Singapore Airlines, TAP Air Portugal and Turkish Airlines. With this, this facility will be very beneficial for users.
