Jammu: In Jammu and Kashmir, a fierce encounter broke out between militants and security forces in the Sopore area of Baramulla district in the wee hours of Tuesday. Talking about the entire case, a police official said, security forces launched a cordon and search operation late on Monday night after receiving information about the presence of militants in Pethseer in the Sopore area.
