New Opportunities in Indian Railways: Apply Now for 9,144 Technician Jobs! - The Indian Railways is once again opening its doors for eager job seekers as it announces a whopping 9,144 vacancies for technician posts. This presents a golden opportunity for individuals looking to embark on a career in one of the country's most vital sectors.

The recruitment drive, overseen by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB), encompasses various categories, including 1,092 Grade I Signal positions and 8,052 Grade III roles. Prospective candidates can kick-start their application process starting today, with the window for online registration set to close on April 9.

To apply, interested individuals need to visit the official website of the respective Railway Recruitment Board at rrbapply.gov.in. Once there, they should navigate to the 'Apply Online – Recruitment of Technician 2024' section and follow the prompts to complete their registration. This involves entering personal and educational details, uploading necessary documents such as photographs and signatures, and paying the requisite application fee.

Applicants are advised to double-check all information entered before submitting their forms to ensure accuracy. The direct link for accessing the application portal is https://www.rrbapply.gov.in/#/auth/home.

But what lies beyond the application process? The selection process entails the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) shortlisting candidates for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination. Each RRB will adhere to a 1:1 ratio corresponding to the vacancies available.

Merit in the Computer Based Test (CBT) will serve as the primary criterion for selection. It's crucial to note that the marks obtained in the CBT will be normalized across multiple shifts. Candidates who qualify for DV will receive notifications via the official RRB websites, as well as through SMS and email on their registered mobile number and email ID.

However, aspirants must tread carefully during the CBT, as there will be negative marking, deducting 1/3rd of the marks for every incorrect answer.

With ample opportunities and a streamlined application process, the Indian Railways beckons aspiring technicians to seize the moment and embark on a rewarding career journey.

There are jobs in Rajasthan for people up to 40 years of age, selection will be done on this basis
