In Rajasthan, 7810 posts under National Health Mission (NHM) will be filled by Community Health Officer (CHO). Till now the recruitment of Total 6310 posts of CHO was to be done, but now CM Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan has allowed to add 1500 additional posts in the recruitment process of CHO. These appointments will be on a contract basis.
Health services will be accessible:
The government believes that due to Covid-19, it is not possible to get repeated recruitment examinations. In this way, the number of posts in the recruitment process of CHO has been increased to 7810, in which a total of 1500 additional posts have been added. With these additional vacancies, health services will also be available at the health centres of the Sudur regions of Rajasthan.
In Rajasthan, all health institutions up to sub-health centre level by 2022 are to be started as health and wellness centres. Under this, recruitment was done on 6310 posts.
