Singer Joe Jonas, known for his musical art, has finally revealed the reasons behind his marriage to actress Sophie Turner in Las Vegas. Joe and Sophie married in May 2019 at the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas after the Billboard Music Awards. The pair married for the second time in South France. According to foreign media reports, Joe has spoken to his fans in a video for GQ magazine.

During GQ's 'Extremely Me' series, Joe answered a number of questions that were related to her and she also revealed that the couple married first because they 'had to marry legally in the States'. This time he said, "So we thought it would be fun for all our friends, invite them (to Vegas), and have a pre-planned wedding."

Joe tell that he and Turner had to face many things when their parents got the news about their decision. He said, "My parents called me the next morning and asked 'Are you married?' And I realized that I told everyone, but forgot to tell your parents. So, when you are getting married legally, do tell your parents! "
