New Delhi: Many filmmakers and production houses have resumed their work by complying with safety norms after the government relaxed lockdown restrictions. In this episode, Satyamev Jayate 2 director Milap Javeri has been looking to refine his film in lockdown, now the film will be shot in Lucknow.

Produced by T-Series and AME Entertainment, the film is said to be released on Eid next year 12 May 2021. After Satyamev Jayate in 2018, John Abraham and producers have decided to take the franchise forward with Divya Khosla Kumar in front of John this time. While the first film revolves around corruption, the film deals with corruption in all spheres, from the police to politicians, businessmen and the general public.

"We have changed the script, as it will give us a chance to make it on a larger scale and also enlarge the canvas," says Director Milap, when he changed his shoot location and story from Mumbai to the Nawabs city of Lucknow.
