South African player 'Hashim Amla' and 'JP Duminy' took over the match very smartly at the end day of the session against Sri Lanka at 338/3. Duos helped South Africa to reach on the formidable position by 292 runs in the three test series.

Match held at Wanderers stadium, Duminy made 155runs and Amla scored 125 runs in the test match. However, Amla made his first century in the 11 test matches before this, the second half century was targeted in just 60 balls by the touch of 26th hundreds in his life.

Both the batsmen came on the field as after Stephen cook and Dean Algar were out of the match in six balls in the early morning. This was the great survival by the player partners for the team.
