Kolkata: Bharatiya Janata Party national president JP Nadda has reached Kolkata on a two-day visit today. It is being told that as soon as he reached the BJP office in Kolkata, some people started an uproar outside the office. During this time people shouted slogans of 'Go Back'. It is being said that these people were protesting against the new agricultural laws and asking him to return. During this time the local police did not appear there.

It is being told that the people created uproar were the supporter of Trinamool Congress. Next year assembly elections are due in West Bengal and BJP has already started campaigning for it. JP Nadda has gone there today. He is about to reach Bhawanipur shortly after. Here Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is an MLA and JP Nadda will be a part of the BJP's 'no more injustice camp' in Bhawanipur. He will talk to the workers at the local level.
JP Nadda, who is going to visit the Hammond Harbor on Thursday, Mamata's nephew Abhishek Banerjee is MP here. There are reports that representatives of fishermen are going to meet here. The BJP's campaign in Bengal is going ahead and it is getting a sharp challenge from the Trinamool.
