BJP President J P Nadda is due to visit Assam on Monday after completing his one-day visit to West Bengal. In Assam, the BJP president's visit is very special due to the likely assembly elections in March-April this year. He is going to start the election campaign by addressing a public meeting at the police parade ground in Silchar. Silchar is the place where PM Narendra Modi started his campaign for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections through a rally. Jp Nadda is also going to visit Tamil Nadu on January 14 after his visit to Assam.

Bjp veteran BJP: As per the information received, JP Nadda will arrive in Silchar in Barak Valley, Assam on Monday. The police here is to address a rally called Vijay Sankalp Inclusive at the parade ground. The BJP president is accompanied by state Chief Minister Sabaranand Sonowal, Minister Hemant Biswa Sharma Pradesh President Ranjit Kumar Das, etc.

Barak Valley is the traditional stronghold of BJP: Junha has revealed that the Barak Valley comprises three districts. For the past three decades, Barak valley has been identified as the traditional stronghold of the BJP. After the rally, BJP President J P Nadda is going to take up the strategy for the assembly elections by taking a meeting of the core committee of Assam BJP in Guwahati. On January 12, the next day, a program of darshan is also being held at the Kamakhya temple in JP Nadda.
