Hyderabad – Tollywood actor Jr NTR has stepped up to aid flood-stricken Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, announcing a generous donation of Rs 50 lakh to each state’s Chief Minister's Relief Fund. In a recent social media update, Jr NTR expressed his heartfelt concern and offered his prayers for the speedy recovery of the affected communities.

Jr NTR, known for his significant influence in the Telugu film industry, took to social media to share his commitment. "I am announcing a donation of Rs 50 lakh each to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as a gesture of support for the Telugu states," he posted.

The devastating floods in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh have caused extensive damage, displacing many residents and creating an urgent need for relief efforts. Heavy rains, driven by a depression over the Vidarbha region, led to intense downpours, which the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) had predicted. Unfortunately, the heavy rains led to severe flooding and widespread destruction.

Jr NTR's donation totals Rs 1 crore, with Rs 50 lakh earmarked for each state. His support is a crucial boost for the relief operations and demonstrates a strong sense of solidarity with those affected. In his message, Jr NTR expressed his sadness over the calamity and hoped for a swift recovery for the people of the two states.

The actor's generous contribution has been well-received by his followers and the public, reflecting his commitment to supporting his community in times of crisis. His act of kindness highlights the importance of collective support during such challenging times.

In addition, the producers of the film "Kalki" have also pledged Rs 25 lakh to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister's Relief Fund, joining in the efforts to assist the flood victims.
