Court extends Rhea Chakraborty's judicial custody till October 6

In the Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput death case, actress Rhea Chakraborty's judicial custody has been extended by the NDPS court till October 6. In the meantime, Rhea Chakravarty and her brother Showik Chakraborty have filed a bail plea in the Bombay High Court. The petition is going to be heard on Wednesday. This information was given by Rhea's lawyer Satish Manshinde.

Rhea Chakraborty was taken into custody by NCB on September 9 after a lengthy interrogation. About 20 people have been arrested in the drugs case. The name of several famous actresses including Deepika Padukone and Sara Ali Khan has also been disclosed amidst the probe in the case. In the coming days, NCB can send summons to them for interrogation.

According to media reports, the NCB had produced Rhea Chakravarty to the NDPS court after the detention on September 9 where she was remanded to judicial custody for 14 days. The court has extended judicial custody for 14 days.
