Jwala Gutta Academy of Excellence was launched on Tuesday in the presence of Indian women's badminton star Jwala Gutta. Jwala Gutta told that she had to struggle a lot to open this academy in Hyderabad. After not getting help from anywhere, he opened this academy by selling his house. Olympic medalist Indian wrestler Sushil Kumar and Olympic bronze medalist boxer Vijender Singh, including MP Rajiv Pratap Rudy were also present on the occasion.

The academy, which was opened at Sujata High School in Gachibowli area in Hyderabad, has 14 world class badminton courts. Along with badminton, sports like cricket, tennis, swimming will also be trained here. The academy also has a hostel for 100 children. The academy also has a yoga center and a lace gym with all facilities.

Shuttler Jwala Gutta said that as a player I have really realized the importance of discipline and consistency, not only in sports, but also in normal life. I thought of building an academy. I will try to develop discipline among those who are ready to learn badminton. Wrestler Sushil Kumar present on the occasion said, "Jwala's move is commendable. I will always be ready to help Jwala. I congratulate Jwala and her entire team."

On opening an academy in southern India instead of northern India, Jwala said, "I know there is already an academy in Hyderabad." I will try my best to provide training to the players of Northern India as well. Along with this, I also ask for help from the Government of India to help me in opening an academy in Northern India itself.
