Bhopal: Questions have been raised about the functioning of the party after the crushing defeat of the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections. Many veteran Congress leaders have given advice on the functioning of the party. Another senior leader has been named in this episode. In fact, former Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia has supported him on the political ruckus arising out of the statement of former foreign minister Salman Khurshid on Congress and Rahul Gandhi. Scindia has said that "the situation that the party is currently going through needs self-determination".

"So that the situation can be rectified by implementing it. Scindia was talking to reporters at his residence, Jai Vilas Palace.
