More than 8 Million views in less than 48 hours for a Tamil Teasure was unheard of. The official teaser of Superstar Rajinikanth’s film Kabali was released on 1 May and it looks like it has set YouTube on fire!

The 66 second teaser had enough whistle-worthy moments to keep the viewers hooked and craving for more.

“Superstar Rajinikanth is the undisputed king, as he proved it by shattering all the previous YouTube records for Indian cinema. The phenomenal reception has been exceptionally heartening,” said the producer of Kabali, Kalaippuli S Thanu.

The director of the film Pa Ranjith, has played to the Superstar’s strengths in the teaser, with classy presentation, the impeccable Rajini style, and punchlines.

The movie also stars Radhika Apte, Nasser, Kishore, Kalaiyarasan, Dhansika, and Dinesh Ravi in key roles and is scheduled to hit screens later this year.
