Filmmaker Kabir Khan and Bollywood star Salman Khan are good buddies also they have worked in three films. Their third collaboration is 'Tubelight' whose post-production work is in process.

Kabir Khan was the director of Ek Tha Tiger but for the sequel Salman has chosen Ali Abbas Zafar and not Kabir.

Regarding the film, Kabir was quoted saying, "I am very happy that the second journey of Tiger has started. It is good to see Salman and Katrina together. And Ali Abbas Zafar has chosen some lovely locations to continue with what we had done. It will be as exciting if not more (than the first part)."

Meanwhile, about the Tubelight, he said, "We are editing the film. We will soon release the look and trailer of the film.
