Nikita Dutta, who has won the hearts of fans with her acting from TV to Bollywood, has come under the grip of Coronavirus. Recently, Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Katrina Kaif, and other artists were reported to have been infected with covid. After which, Nikita has also been found to be corona virus-positive. Nikita achieved great popularity by playing the role of Jia Sharma in Shahid Kapoor's movie Kabir Singh.
Nikita was waiting for the release of her upcoming film. Her mother was also coming to Mumbai for the screening of the movie, but during the time she was hit by covid. On the other hand, her mother's health is also deteriorating. According to media reports, Nikita was shooting for her dance movie Rocket Gang with Aditya Seal in Mumbai when she was infected with the covid.
In the movie, Bosco Martis is going to make her debut as a choreographer. Nikita said in a media interaction, "It is difficult to maintain social distancing in some scenes between shoots and the actors cannot carry masks when the shots are ready. Our security is in the hands. People have started falling prey to ther disease even after drinking. We cannot even change our location because a shooting set has been made in Meera Road".
Nikita further said, "My mother's health deteriorated due to which she had to enroll in ICU. It was not a corona that I was lucky. I was going to Delhi but I became corona positive. Hopefully, everyone gets vaccinated soon".
