Actor Shahid Kapoor's film "Kabir Singh" is still in the box office, earning more than Rs 226 crore so far. While this film has been greatly appreciated by the audience. While some say that the hero appeared to be slapping the heroine, that is violence. However, it was responded to by director Sandeep Reddy Wanga to the people who criticised it.

So he says, 'When you love a woman dearly, you don't have the freedom to slap a woman, so they don't see that emotion.' Preeti also slapped Kabir."  But he is now facing a recount of criticism over the statement.
