Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut starred in the film Queen in 2014 and the film directed by Vikas Bahl became a superhit and she was also awarded the National Award for Best Actress to Kangana Ranaut.
The remake of Queen was made in all 4 South Indian languages - Paris Paris starring Kajal Aggarwal in Tamil starring Mahalakshmi, Tamannaah in Telugu, Zam Zam in Malayalam, starring Manjima Mohan and Titli starring Paramvir Yadav in Kannada.
While the shooting of these films was completed before one year, but due to censor issues, they were released very late. The latest news of this period is that these films are going to opt for direct OTT release and negotiations are on with Amazon Prime. The Tamil version Paris Paris is directed by Ramesh Aravind and also features Tamannaah in a cameo.
