Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is graning rave reviews from the audience. The historical drama is not dominating the domestic circuit but also earning very well in the international circuits. Till now the film has grossed Rs 87.37 crore (nett Rs 69.90 crore) in India and Rs 14.24 crore at the overseas box office. Krish and Kangana directorial stands with the grand total of Rs 101.61 crore at the global box office.

The film is directed by Kangana Ranaut and Krish, and also features Jisshu Sengupta, Atul Kulkarni, Danny Danzongpa, Vaibhav Tatwawaadi and Suresh Oberoi in key roles. The movie is based on the life of the brave queen Laxmibai who fought against the Britishers. The music of Manikarnika is composed by the terrific trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, while the lyrics are penned by Prasoon Joshi.
