According to early media reports, Kangana Ranaut will play the lead role in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwary's upcoming directorial. Now as per new reports from Mumbai Mirror, Sumeet Vyas will cast opposite Kangana in the film.

Sumeet has had two meetings with the filmmakers but is yet to ink on the dotted line. He is a Kangana’s huge fan and the two have admired each other’s work in the past. Sumeet is also keen to share the screen with “Tanu”

The film is based on a sports drama and Kangana will be cast as the role of a kabaddi player.

 Kangana, after returning from London, will kick off the Kabaddi training. The film is set to hit the silver screen in the month of October this year.

 Worth mention here Kangana’s Mental Hai Kya wraps up on July 11 and She will immediately fly back to Mumbai to complete some patchwork of her much-awaited film Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. She has to give over two days for a brand shoot.

But, for the most part of August, she and Ashwini will have hectic workshops for the kabaddi film.

Ashwiny is exhibiting national-level kabaddi champions’ profiled to find the one who can support Kangana through the sport. While Kangana has already begun practising yoga to be able to master holding breath which is an essential and pre-requisite of the game. In her, the prep Kangana will see learning different kinds of holds and kicks. In all that Learning the crocodile hold and wrist catch will be important. She will also need to experience a change in terms of her physique.
