The number of Twitter followers of Kangana Ranaut, who is vocal against bias and Nepotism in Bollywood, is declining. According to Kangana, 40 to 50 thousand people unfollow her every day. One user drew Kangana's attention by tweeting that the number of her Twitter followers are decreasing. The user wrote "Kangana Ji, the count of your Twitter followers is being reduced. I suspected this, but it is now confirmed that Twitter is doing this. An hour ago it was 992000, but now it is 988000".

In response to this, Kangana wrote "I agree with this. I notice a pattern that 40-50 thousand followers are decreasing daily. I'm new to Twitter, but how does this happen? Any idea of why they are doing this? Kangna has also tagged Twitter India and Twitter support in this tweet".

When another user told the reason behind the ghost ban of Twitter, Kangana wrote: "Hmm I see Nationalists have to struggle everywhere the racket is so strong, I noticed because last night we were to very close to a million, anyway, sincere apologies to all those who are getting unfollows automatically, so unfair but aren't we used to this now ?????"
