He said in a conversation with a website that, 'Like Uri we wanted to make a film about the Army, this film will be based on a true incident. Also, Tejas is not a sequel to Uri, but it will be made on a similar and equal scale.

Talking about her film with this, Kangana Ranaut had told an entertainment portal in the past that, 'Many times, the nation's attention is not paid to the sacrifices made by our brave women in uniform. Tejas is a film where I have the honor to play the role of such an Air Force pilot. Which keeps the country ahead of itself.
