Kangana is living in the glory of success with her outstanding roles in Indian cinema. She is here again to startle her fans with her pious role as Goddess Sita in an upcoming epic period titled Sita: The Incarnation.
The director Alaukik Desai happily announces Kangana’s role in this mythological drama. Kangana is apt to play this prior character. The film has been penned by screenwriter KV Vijayendra Prasad, who also wrote Ranaut’s starer 'Thalaivi.'
Kangana Ranaut revealed in an Instagram story that she played the role of Sita at the age of 12 in a school play as she gave fans a glimpse of the poster of the movie. She shared a picture from her childhood and she wrote, "I also played Sita as a child when I was 12 years old in a school play haha…Siya Ramchandra Ki Jai."
The universe helps those who surrender it to belief. In this magnificent epic, Kangana portrays herself as a fearless, truthful and pure Indian woman. It's time we celebrate equality in every respect. Staging for a mythological drama is far more challenging. The team will build grand sets of Mithila from scratch.
The epic drama traces Sita's journey before she married Lord Ram. As the oldest parts of the Ramayana date from the fifth and sixth centuries, the creative team is doing intense research on the ancient scriptures. The team is underway to find the perfect location in India to construct huge sets of Mithila and other ancient cities. Her incarnation of Sita also demands a deep dive into the period. As such there are no real references or materials available from the era. So, research on Puranas, Vedas, and Granth's will help to save this piece of history.
What the director told about the movie was simple - To design the movie as ''a mega mythological drama.'' He further said that the film is currently in the conceptualization and theming stage. Once that is complete, the design will begin. Each element of the production will be made keeping the story, aesthetics, and periodic sensibilities in mind.
Kangana Ranaut will be next seen in "Dhaakad'' and ''Tejas'' in which she will play the role of an Indian Airforce pilot. That role of Kangana will also be very different from her movies. She will be seen in action mode in these movies.
