New Delhi: Another teaser of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's film and Tamil Nadu CM Jayalalithaa's biopic 'Thalaivi' has been released. This teaser introduces the character of MGR, one of the most important characters in Jayalalithaa's life. Also, the first look of MGR's character has also been released, which is being played by Arvind Swamy.

In the poster, Arvind Swamy is seen in signature style connecting MGR's hands. Let me tell you that today is also the birthday of MGR on 17 January and this poster has been released on the occasion of his birthday. Significantly, MGR's full name is Muruthur Gopala Ramachandran and he acted in nearly 28 films with Jayalalithaa.

Along with this, it is said that actor-turned-politician MGR is the person who is credited with bringing Jayalalithaa into politics. Jayalalithaa's first film with MGR was 'Aayrathil Oruvan', which came out in 1965.
