Taapsee Pannu's upcoming film is 'Haseen Dillbura' which is slated to release soon. The trailer of the film has been released recently which has received a lot of love from fans. Kanika Dhillon is a well known screenwriter of Bollywood and has written some hit movies. She has been credited in the trailer of the film but it seems writer-director Navjot Gulati did not like it and that is why he has made a 'sexist' comment about Kanika. In a tweet, Navjot took a dig at Kanika and wrote, 'If you want to make it to the trailer as a screenwriter, you need to marry someone in the production house. Once the writer becomes a member of the family, he is treated like an actor-star.'

Let us also tell you that Kanika's husband Himanshu Sharma himself is a well-known writer and close to filmmaker Anand L Rai. Himanshu Sharma is also one of the makers of 'Haseen Dillbura'. In view of this, Navjot made the comment, though Kanika did not remain silent on her comment and has hit back. Kanika replied, "Hi @Navjotalive, I was surprised to see this sexist-female and foolish form of yours. I will not count my work in front of people with a mindset like you because I know that small-minded people like you will never accept that a woman can make her mark on her own. Your mind is bad. May the day be auspicious. Because of a writer like you, the foolishness that others show is not able to find a place that is their right. It is a shame."

Apart from her, Taapsee has also supported Kanika. She wrote, "She should not attribute the success and credit of a woman to the man she marries or the man she marries. You have so much bitterness that you cannot digest a woman's success." Now let's talk about Haseen Dillruba so it will release on Netflix on July 2.
