Kanpur: A student hanged himself in a hostel room in Kanpur, UP, the country's largest state. Police have also recovered a suicide note from the spot stating that he was committing suicide due to his girlfriend's infidelity. His girlfriend should not be harassed after death. Writing a few lines behind his girlfriend's picture, the student snared himself with a sheet. Police seized the body and sent it for postmortem and have started investigating the case. The father of the deceased is said to be in the army and was preparing for the competition exam.

The deceased student was originally from Jalaun and was preparing for bank selection by staying in the hostel of P Block in Kalyanpur, Kanpur. Police rushed to the spot as soon as they received the report and broke the door and entered the room and pulled out the body hanging from the fan. Police found a picture of a girl above the glass in the room. In which Shivam wrote about the girl's infidelity. He wrote on his girlfriend's picture: "You didn't do well with me, why did you love me when you had to cheat. Don't tease her after me. The man's suicide note, the phone, has been seized.

It is also said that the student had come to the hostel three months ago. He was very quiet.
