Akash Ambani the son of Nita Ambani and Mukesh Ambani exchanged rings with Shloka Mehta on Friday. The grand engagement ceremony was attended by the well-known names of Bollywood like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, Karan Johar.
Recently Alia Bhatt posted a picture of herself from the grand evening with the director of Brahmastra Ayan Mukerji and Karan Johar who is her mentor posted it with the caption, ‘With my favourite men’. It is the first time that Alia is working with Ayaan Mukherjee and also Ranbir Kapoor.
Brahmastra would also feature, Megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.
Karan Johar allegedly posted a picture of Ayan Mukherjee and Ranbir Kapoor from the engagement ceremony of Shloka and Akash and wrote the caption “Baraat Bros" with it.
Ranbir Kapoor has been directed by Ayan Mukherjee movies like Wake up Sid and Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani. The actor-director duo has been really good friends for a long time. During a media interaction, on being questioned about his friends, Ranbir asserted that Ayan Mukerji is the friend he cherishes and looks up to for anything and everything in life.
This is the third time that Ranbir and Ayan are coming together, in Brahmastra.
