While talking to a media reporter, Karan has said, 'First thing is, Anusha and I do not live together. We have our own house and we used to live together when our schedule was the same. I was shooting in Haryana and I came back to Mumbai before the lockdown was announced. I did not want to endanger anyone's life, that's why I decided to stay in my house.'

Karan further said, 'We started living alone, people guessed our breakup. We are still together. This kind of rumor got air because I could not post anything on social media in the last few days. This is because I wanted to stay away from social media for a few days. While talking about Anusha Dandekar, Karan also said that he got information about the news of the breakup.' Karan has told that, 'I do not bother with such rumors but Anusha gets done. She is very emotional and she only informed me about the rumor of our breakup.'
