Kareena Kapoor Khan has ruled the hearts of the audience by delivering phenomenal performance in many films. Whether it is her vivacious character Geet from Jab We Met or the restrained doctor Preet from Udta Punjab – Kareena Kapoor impressed the audience as well as critics. But there was a time when things weren’t going right on professional front, and she reveals it was her husband Saif Ali Khan supported her.In a post for Humans of Bombay, Kareena said that Saif helped “heal” her when she was low.
In the post Kareena said, “Somehow throughout my career and my life, I’ve been blessed with people who have loved and supported me so thoroughly! So just when I thought I was falling, Saif caught me. I’d met him numerous times before, but when we were filming Tashan, something changed. I wore my heart on my sleeve around him. He was so utterly charming; I fell for him hook, line, and sinker.”
Sharing the fun moments, Bebo said, “We’d enjoy the beauty around us, have these great conversations and just bond,” Kareena said, adding, “He’s 10 years older than me and has two children. But for me, he was just Saif – he helped me heal and made me fall in love with myself. Maybe it was the fact that we’re dramatically different – he’s more private and not very ‘Bollywoodised’, but that’s what I imbibed from him. I learnt to strike a balance and not let things get to me.”
For the unversed, Kareena and Saif tied the knot on October 16, 2012, in a private ceremony in Mumbai.
