Bengaluru: Everyone is waiting for the 5th August for Bhoomi Poojan of Ram temple in Ayodhya. Meanwhile, big news has come. The priest, who fixed a Muhurat of Bhoomi Pujan, has been threatened in Belagavi, Karnataka. It is being told that in this case, the Belagavi police says, '75-year-old Vijayendra has received a threat on the phone.' In this case, a case has been filed at Tilakwadi police station in Belagavi. According to the reports, the priest Vijayendra (who has received the threat) told, "Those threatening said that why did you tell the date of the Muhurat? Why are you joining it? On this, I said that he (organizers) had requested me for this, and I followed it. As a guru, I performed my duty. The caller did not reveal the name. Calls are coming from different places. Although I have not taken it seriously till today."

As soon as the threatening call was received, taking it into consideration, policemen have now been posted at the priest's residence in Shastri Nagar, Belagavi. The police say that the callers had allegedly threatened the priest to withdraw the Muhurat talk which he had set for the ceremony.

Talking about Vijayendra, he is related to the Ram Janmabhoomi movement for the last several years. In February 2020, the organizers approached him to take out the Muhurat. Vijayendra had given four dates for the birth anniversary of Ram Janmabhoomi, July 29, July 31, August 1 and August 5. On all these dates, he said that the holy month of all Hindus falls in the month of Sawan. There are also reports that due to the corona epidemic, Vijayendra himself is not going to the Bhoomi Pujan program.
