The court has sent BJP MLA Madan Virupakshappa to Bangalore Central Jail. His son Prashant is also imprisoned in this jail. That is, father and son are now imprisoned in a jail. The court that sent the father to jail has reserved its decision until April 10 on the bail plea of Karnataka State Audit and Account Service Officer Prashant. After this, the order will be pronounced. Prashant was also arrested by the Lokayukta in a bribery case.

MLA's son Prashant was caught with Rs 40 lakh in cash in his father's Crescent Road office on March 2. On Monday, the High Court rejected the father's bail plea. After this, he was arrested. Prashant had sought bail from the court. But the government's lawyer opposed it. He said that this matter has shaken not only the court but also the conscience of the people. The current MLA and his son are also accused of corruption. He requested the court act strictly in such cases.
