Most of the polling stations in Bantwal, home town of district minister B Ramanath Rai, in Bantwal constituency have recorded more than 60% polling by 12.45pm. With 47%, Dakshin Kannada has recorded highest voting so far while Bengaluru Urban is the lowest at 28% till 1pm.

Therefore we are not worried”.

Karnataka Minister DK Shivakumar also cast his vote at polling booth number 240 in Kanakapura. Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde cast his vote in Karnataka's Sirsi. Former Foreign Minister and BJP leader SM Krishna casts his vote in a polling booth in Bengaluru.

Voting is underway in 58,008 polling stations of 30 districts across the state, with 600 of them as pink
