Karnataka Cabinet Ministers are showing dissatisfaction over the division of portfolios. In fact, some Ministers do not seem to be happy with their Department because they did not get the department they wanted. Chief Minister Bommai has made a statement after some ministers expressed displeasure. He said, "Not everyone can get the department they want. In fact, two ministers Anand Singh and MTB Nagaraj openly expressed their displeasure over the division of portfolios.'' In a statement on the discontent among his ministers, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said, "I have spoken to him (Anand Singh). I think Anand Singh's issue will be resolved very soon. I will call MTB Nagaraj and talk to him also.''

You must be aware that last Saturday, Chief Minister Bommai handed over his ministry to 29 ministers in his new cabinet. As part of the information received, 23 ministers in the former Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa government have also been inducted into the new cabinet, and most of these ministers have retained their previous ministry. In fact, CM Bommai has retained the responsibility of the Finance Ministry, the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms, the Bengaluru Ministry of Development and Cabinet Affairs.

On the other hand, MTB Nagaraj had the Ministry of Urban Administration in the previous Government also and this time also he has been given the same responsibility, besides the additional responsibility of small scale industry and public sector industry. In addition, Anand Singh has been given the Department of Environment, Ecology, and Tourism. After all this, Nagaraj tweeted, "Former Chief Minister BSY (Yediyurappa) and incumbent Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai did not keep their promise. I am not happy with the department given to me. I will make a decision in the next 2-3 days.'' At the same time, Anand Singh said that he will meet the Chief Minister in this regard but will not take any steps which will embarrass the party.
