Bengaluru: CM BS Yediyurappa has decided to hold a cabinet meeting on Monday to look into the growing corona case in Bengaluru, the capital of Karnataka. After the meeting, CM Yediyurappa said that the state of Karnataka is currently facing a second wave of the corona. The cases of the constantly growing corona are dangerous to the state. But in view of the situation, the Karnataka government is not in the idea of enforcing the lockdown in Bengaluru.

Yediyurappa has categorically stated that no lockdown or curfew will be imposed in the city. In fact, in Bengaluru, on average, about 1350 corona cases are being reported daily. The city has recorded 16921 new corona infections in the last 2 weeks. Seeing the growing case of the corona, people seemed to be re-closing schools, colleges in the state. On this, CM said, "We are not going to close schools and colleges.''

He said that we have discussed that if children come to school, they can come up with corona avoidance measures as well as follow the recommendation. Not only that, CM Yediyurappa has announced that no rallies and protests will be allowed for the next 15 days and the number of people will also be monitored at wedding ceremonies.
