The threat to the JDS-Congress government led by HD Kumaraswamy has deepened as a total of 13 MLAs, including Nagesh, have resigned so far. With this, the total number of rebel MLAs has gone up to 14 (one MLA had already resigned). Now, in terms of strength in the Assembly, there is a kind of tie. This is because if these resignations are admitted, the number of members in the Assembly will be 210.
