BANGALORE:  The police investigations into the doctor's murder case in Karnataka have shown that the deceased had released private photos of his live-in partner upon learning about her affairs with another person, police said on Monday.

Police claim that even after deciding to marry Dr. Vikas, the accused architect Pratibha, then 27 years old, continued to have an affair with co-defendant Susheel. When the doctor learned about her affair, there was a struggle.

Pratibha carried on with her affair despite Vikas' objections, so he recorded intimate recordings of her and posted them online. According to the police, he created a fake social media account and posted their personal videos, which quickly gained popularity. Families of Pratibha and Vikas quarrelled about it. The woman and her companions then killed Vikas on September 10, and he passed away from his wounds on September 18.

The incidnet had occurred within the boundaries of Bangalore's Begur police station. The police had received a complaint about this from Vikas's family.

Recently, the Chennai-based doctor's case had been solved by Karnataka police. According to preliminary findings, Pratibha killed the young physician in retaliation for reportedly posting her and her mother's private recordings online.
In connection with the incident, the police detained Pratibha, a resident of Mico Layout, along with her companions Susheel (25), Gowtham (27), and Surya (26). After the event, Pratibha went so far as to try to convince her friends that she hadn't actually assaulted Dr. Vikas. She is the primary conspirator in the case, the police discovered.

Both Dr. Vikas and the defendant, Pratibha, are from Chennai. Two years ago, they connected on social media and began dating. They confessed to their families that they had fallen in love.

On getting the consent, they scheduled their wedding for November of the following year. Dr. Vikas had completed his medicine education in the Ukraine and practiced in Chennai. He had come to Bangalore for training in order to continue his course for an further six months. Since then, Pratibha and he had allegedly begun living together, police said.
