Bengaluru: On Monday, After such a long protests, karnataka finally decided to release Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu.

A special legislative session conducted in which a resolution was passed to release water to farmers in the Cauvery basin, including Tamil Nadu, for irrigation and drinking water necessities. And nothing has been mentioned in the resolution about the quantum of water to be released.

After the Supreme Court directed the state government to release 15,000 cusecs of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu, the massive protests erupted in Karnataka, especially on the streets of Bengaluru and Mysuru.
