Karnataka wins their third Vijay Hazare trophy against Saurashtra in the final. Karnataka beats Saurashtra by 41 runs after defending 254 runs in the final. For Karnataka, it was not a good start as they lost two wickets for just 5 runs on the board. 

Skipper Cheteshwar Pujara's scored 94 runs for Saurashtra who shows his temperament against Karnataka's brutal bowling department in the final. Cheteshwar Pujara's unbdortunate runout was the turning point of the match.  Saurashtra was never seen in the state of chasing of 254 runs as they lost Samarth Vyas in the first over of their innings. Dharmendrasinh Jadeja's went cheaply for just scoring 1 runs as the team's score was 15 runs for the loss of two wickets. Saurashtra was bowled out for 212 runs in just 46.3 overs.

Earlier, Saurashtra won the toss and elected to bowl first in the finals. Karnataka in-form batsmen Mayank Agarwal missed out a ton against Saurashtra. Mayank scores 90 runs off 79 balls including 11 fours and three sixes. He scored runs with the strike rate of 113 plus. Both Ravikumar Samarth and Pavan Deshpande missed their half-century. Karnataka manages to score 253 runs in 45.5 overs. For Saurashtra, Kamlesh Makvana takes four crucial wickets for 34 runs. For Karnataka bowling department it was Krishnappa Gowtham who trashes three wickets in his 10 overs quota while giving only 27 runs. Prasidh Krishna, who picks major wickets to restrict Saurashtra batsmen in the final.
