This foundation is working to improve the quality of life of informal waste pickers in the coastal region of Karnataka. One of the beneficiaries is Kamla, whose cost of building a house is being said to be around 4.5 lakhs. According to the information received, this house has been built as an example of an innovative and environmentally sustainable project. It can be made on less cost.

In addition to this, you can use barely recycled waste to build this house. According to the information received, before the construction of this house, the quality and robustness of the construction materials were also tested, so that the house could last for a long time. It is being said that in the second phase, 20 houses are being expected to be constructed for garbage pickers in the year 2021 in which 20 tonnes of plastic will be used.
